Ian Hantke was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer in May 2025. Mr. Hantke joined Rife in February 2014, and held various roles within the Executive and Business Development groups, most recently as the Vice President, Diversified Royalties. Prior to joining Rife, Mr. Hantke spent two years working at Devon Energy as Project Manager, and seven years working at O’Rourke Engineering as a Facilities Engineer. Mr. Hantke holds a Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering degree from Carleton University and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).

David Creig was appointed Chief Financial Officer in May 2025. Mr. Creig joined Rife in October 2006 and has held various roles within the Finance group, most recently as the Director, Compliance and Royalty Accounting. Mr. Creig is a Chartered Professional Accountant with over twenty years of finance experience. Prior to joining Rife, Mr. Creig spent six years with the Government of Alberta’s Department of Energy including in a managerial role within the oil royalties division. Mr. Creig has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary.
