Investor Relations Analyst

Reporting to the Manager Investor Relations and Capital Markets, this role key responsibilities include:

  • Participate in crafting, articulating and executing Freehold’s investor relations strategy
  • Contribute to the development of strategic communications with the investment community
  • Prepare and execute quarterly earnings, including presentation, press release, scripts and Q&A material
  • Lead and execute ad hoc projects including annual ESG reports and Asset Books
  • Plan and coordinate investor meetings, including roadshows, Analyst meetings and Investor Days
  • Digest industry and competitive news and collaborate with key leaders to promptly address both internal and external stakeholder questions
  • Follow and circulate relevant FRU and peer related news and review analyst notes

Working Conditions

  • Extended hours and moderate travel may be required

Minimum Requirements

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience, including investor relations, financial analysis, marketing, communications and/or regulatory
  • All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada at the time of application

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Superb verbal, written and communication skills
  • Strong technical skills with Microsoft Office Applications including PowerPoint and Excel
  • Financial modelling skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Attention to detail and proven analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision/self starter

COVID-19 & Flexible Hybrid Work Pilot Program Information

What does our hybrid work pilot program look like?

  • Combination of in-office and remote work: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday are core in-office work days, Monday and Friday in-office or remote based on your preference
  • Flexible work hours, while committing to being available during our core hours of 9:00am – 3:00pm

If you choose to participate in the hybrid work pilot program, you will:

  • Be provided with a Rife computer or laptop when working in the office
  • Need to have access to a personal computer when working from home (unless assigned a Rife laptop - dependent on business need).
  • Have a high-speed internet connection with a minimum of 50 Mbps for downloads and 30 Mbps for uploads when working remotely
