Rife Resources Ltd. (Rife) was incorporated under the Canada Business Corporations Act on February 21, 1983. Rife is registered to carry on business in the provinces of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. The head, principal and registered office is located at Suite 400, 144 - 4th Avenue S.W., Calgary, Alberta, T2P 3N4.
Rife is owned 100% by the CN Pension Trust Funds (the pension fund for employees of the Canadian National Railway). In 1982, the CN Pension Trust Funds established Rife Resources Ltd., an exploration and production company, to broaden the scope of their oil and gas investment program.
Rife's strategy is to acquire producing assets that have good potential for future development. With a staff that has expertise in geology, geophysics, petroleum engineering, land administration, finance, audit and accounting, Rife has the capability to operate and develop these assets.
